Halfway There.

It’s hard to keep the faith. The summer is steaming on. The weather is lovely, the hottest it’s been in years. The garden needs work. Friends and family come over, so you want the house to look nice too.

Time seems your enemy too. Never enough of it, unless you’re waiting to hear back from a publisher then time is endless.

Just when I’m about to replan my genre and focus on a new one a ping on my phone has change everything.

Once again, I find myself standing at the edge of tomorrow my hopes and dreams are taking flight once more. Excitement is mounting even though it could all come crashing down again.

As writers we all know it’s the waiting game. The willingness to send our work out knowing full well it might just be another rejection in the end, but there’s always the possibility that this one is the right one.
