When I first started writing, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write so I hunted around for ideas. My head was overcrowded with them and as I was working full-time back then so I had lots of thinking time and not much writing time. I would make handwritten notes which I would bring home, and type onto my computer.
All my ideas were stored on my computer and transfer over onto the next new computer whenever I updated it. Bits of short stories, novel ideas, lines of dialogue, description ideas, notes for future stories etc.
I’m so glad I did, as now I need an idea for my next crime novel. I have a treasure trove to choose from among which is three incomplete novels. The one I’ve picked one that fits the bill perfectly.
It has no synopsis. Well I didn’t know how to write one ten years ago. No characters descriptions, but it has fourteen chapters already sketched out.
There’s a lot of work to be done but at least I’m up and run. I hope to have it finished by next August.
So if I go quiet, you know where I am.
I’m busy murdering someone, or maybe two. 🖋❤️✒️
