Busy editing

Hello World 🌍

Yes, I’m still about. I’m a little busy at the moment. You know that book of mine. Yes, the one that’s had a lot of rejections just recently, well I’m editing it. A dear kind friend has taken time out of her busy life to show me where I can make improvements in my novel after one publisher was kind enough to tell me where it needed work.

Sometimes us writer are too close to our work to see the problems.

Maybe once I’ve finished this round of editing I might be no closer to getting my novel published, but I’m learning more about the process of editing and what to look for.

At the moment I have a sea of red, yellow, and green before me as my dear friend points out the areas I need to look at, but I do see a light at the end of the dark tunnel.

Watch this space.
