Drabble in so many words!

If like me you were in the dark and didn’t know, would you own up?

I’m always the first to say, ‘Excuse me, what do you mean?’

How can you possibly be wiser, if you don’t learn to ask questions?

Just because you have finished your schooling doesn’t mean you have finished learning. Our brains need exercising just as much as our bodies do.

I love learning.

I did not know what ‘drabble’ meant. To find out that you can write a story in a hundred words seemed impossible to me.

After entering Black Hare Press Submission Call Out and having my first attempt at a Drabble accepted, it has in fact open up a new world of possibilities to me.

Why don’t you learn something new today?

A new word, a new poem, find a new author, or even learn about a new place, who knows what it may unlock for you.

This morning I finished editing a new drabble, now I just need to add a title and asked my husband to read it through before I send it off.

Have a great day,

Paula R.C

  1. Way to go, Paula! It’s not only fun to learn, like you mentioned, but it’s cool to get out of the old comfort zone, especially with our writing. I’m looking forward to seeing your Drabble stories. Keep up the great work!!
