After a week away in North Yorkshire walking the footpaths and enjoying good food with wonderful company, I’m back at my desk trying to write in the terrible heat wave we’re having in the South of England. We are told it’s coming up from Africa.

It is far too hot to think straight at 36.8 celsius or 96.8 degrees.
I’m managing to sleep at night, well just about.
I’ve put pen to paper and come up with some ideas, but now I need it to be just slightly cooler to allow my brain to play around with them. We have been told there are thunderstorms on the way. Hopefully this will take out some of the heat, and I’ll be able to work again.

I’ve had a 💯 word flash fiction published today.
Here’s the link to Uncovered I hope you’ll enjoy reading it.

Bye for now,
Paula R.C.
Hope this finds you a little bit more comfortable, Paula. I wanted to thank you for posting the lovely photos! They are stunning. I loved reading Uncovered, too! And I’m looking forward to reading more of your work when those ideas of yours start to take shape. Stay cool!!

Thank you, Jim. I’m so glad you enjoy seeing my photos. I wish I had more hours in the day, as I would love to turn them into works of art. As I don’t I use my camera instead. Have a wonderful day x
