Just so excited!

Sorry, I haven’t been around much, but I’ve been busy. I’m trying to focus on my writing. I have four ongoing writing projects at the moment.

Since the 1st October I’ve had seven acceptances. This is amazing to me. It’s as though my ideas just dropping into place without me really having to think about what I’m going to write.

Writing used to be so difficult for me. I failed miserably at school. I knew what I wanted to say, but couldn’t spell the words needed to get over what I wanted to say.

I do still have a problem sometimes, but I don’t get so frustrated with myself these days.

Writing has become a joy.

In the early days, I used to remind myself that it all takes time and patience. No one learns what they need to know over night. That one day, everything would come together.

It must always be remembered, that we never stop learning. As an artist, whether you be a writer, musician, dancer, moviemaker etc we will continue learning new skills to take our work to the next level.

I’m off now to get some sleep tomorrow I’m up early to focus on a novella I’m writing.

Have a great weekend.
